Representatives Remuneration and Allowances
This page sets out the remuneration payable to the elected members of the Tararua District, as set by the Remuneration Authority.
The Remuneration Authority makes a determination setting out levels of remuneration to be paid, and requirements around the setting of allowance and expense reimbursement policies. The determination is made under the Remuneration Authority Act 1977 and clauses 6 and 7A of the Local Government Act 2002, after having regard to the matters specified in clause 7 of that schedule.
