Tararua District Council has completed an Urban Growth Strategy for our district, focusing on Dannevirke, Eketāhuna, Norsewood,

Pahiatua, and Woodville. To support this growth, we need to invest in our town centres, especially in amenities and urban design. Funding

for our Urban Design Strategy has been obtained through Better Off Funding.

Council is working with local community boards and committees to develop an Urban Design Strategy to plan improvements in our town

centres. We’ll be engaging with local communities to gather your input on what you want to see in your town centres.

Our community drop in sessions, that members of the public may participate in are:

• Tuesday, 26th November 3 - 6pm - Woodville - Supper Room at Woodville Sports centre, 64 Ross Street, Woodville
• Monday, 2nd December, 5:30 - 7:30pm - Norsewood - Memorial Hall, Coronation Street, Norsewood
• Tuesday, 3rd December, 3 - 6pm - Dannevirke, Conference Room, the Hub, 23 Gordon Street, Dannevirke
