Inflow and Infiltration inspections in Eketāhuna

We’re investigating wastewater and stormwater pipes in Eketāhuna to reduce the amount of stormwater entering the wastewater network, which can cause overflows and exceed our resource consent limits.

Our contractor, Citycare Water, will inspect external pipes, gully traps and connections using safe, non-toxic methods like smoke or dye testing and CCTV.

Inspections will take place during the week starting 2 December 2024, between 7.30am and 5:00pm(weather permitting).

What you need to know:

* Contractors may need to access your property to carry out

these checks.

* They will carry TDC warrants and Citycare ID.

* If you’re not home, they will leave a calling card.

If you have a dog, locked gate, or want to be home, please let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.
