Deed of Lease for Reserve Land at Ormondville Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, Tararua District Council as administrating body, gives notice of its intention to issue a Deed of Lease and invites tenders for the grazing of the following reserve land for a term of five (5) years.

• 4.8Ha Approx. at Buckland Road
• 2.6Ha approx. at Domain Road

The above land is managed by the Ormondville Domain Board.

A copy of the terms and conditions of the Deed of Lease available on the Council website or at the Dannevirke Service Centre. Envelopes containing tenders should clearly be marked Tender for grazing of Ormondville Domain reserve land, and sent to Kate Payne, Facilities Property Officer, Tararua District Council, P O Box 115, Dannevirke 4942.

Tenders will be accepted up until 4.00pm on Friday 13th December 2024 and should be submitted on the Tender Application Form.  Acceptance of any tender is at the sole discretion of the Council. The highest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Any person or organisation who would like to make a submission or object to the proposal to grant a Deed of Lease may do so. If you wish to make an objection or submission the opportunity is available to present your comments in person to a hearing that will be arranged for this purpose, and they should include such requests to indicate your intentions. These are to be sent to the Facilities Property Officer at the address shown in this notice and will be received up until the date as specified above.
