A leak has been detected in the main transmission line between the Pahiatua water treatment plant and the treated water reservoir. Unfortunately this leak is not able to be repaired until Saturday. Therefore, we are asking our community to please conserve water where possible while the repairs to the leak are conducted.

Please note, the reservoir is currently about 70% full and is being monitored closely. The water treatment plant also continues to operate effectively and produce treated water, some of it is just being lost due to the leak between the water treatment plant and the reservoir.
