Tararua Alliance will be repairing the bridge on Rawhiti St, Dannevirke, from Monday 11 December. A road closure was initially planned for three days, however further investigations have confirmed the narrow site requires the road to be closed for slightly longer, to complete this work safely. Rawhiti St from SH2 to Taradale Rd will be closed at the following times:

• 11, 12 and 13 December - closed day and night
  (resident access only)
• 14 and 15 December - closed 7am-6pm
• Weekend of 16 and 17 December - open
• 18-21 December - closed 7am-6pm

Residents will be able to access their homes. Heavy or oversized vehicles that are unable to use SH2 can be piloted through the site – please expect delays and avoid the area if possible. This work is subject to weather. Please contact TDC on (06) 374 4080 if you have any questions about this work.
