Consultation on our draft Annual Plan is coming soon. This will give you an opportunity to help shape what we do in the coming financial year. This Annual Plan is the budget and work programme for Year 3 of Council’s 2021-2031 Long-Term Plan. It looks at how Council will deliver and fund our infrastructure, projects and services in the upcoming financial year.

Consultation on the proposed Annual Plan will start on 27 April and will be inviting your feedback. This consultation is not just a box-ticking exercise for Council. Your feedback is very important to us.

There will be lots of opportunities for you to come along and speak with council staff and local councillors throughout our district. We will be releasing a Consultation document which will provide you with the information needed to inform yourself and have your say in our district’s future. We will also be providing a range of other opportunities for you to have your say, including community meetings, online feedback forms, and one-on-one meetings.

We encourage you to get involved, have your say, and help us to shape the future of our district. We read every one of your submissions and what you tell us is considered in our final decisions. More information on this and these events will be released soon. We are looking forward to a kōrero!
