New public toilets installed and ready to use at the Mangatainoka Reserve
Published 30 May 2022
The construction of two dry chamber toilets at the Mangatainoka Reserve has been completed.
The construction of the toilets has been made possible through co-funding by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Tourism Infrastructure fund. The construction was initially planned to be in March but had to be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The Mangataoinoka River Reserve is just off SH2 and located directly across the road from the Tui Brewery. It is a popular spot that is regularly frequented by motorhomes and other visitors.
