Pavement construction work Swinburn St and Waterloo St
With the work on the water main renewal already underway, our next step is to start the Pavement construction work around the Swinburn and Waterloo Street area in Dannevirke. This work includes digging out the road and rebuilding back up to surface level. Some drainage and concrete work is required.
Work will start on Swinburn St between Maine St and Waterloo St. Madrid St will need to be closed due to earthworks and concrete work. Road closure dates will be confirmed at a closer date. Once work has finished on Swinburn St, we will then start work on Waterloo St.
Construction work will commence mid-November 2021 through to February 2022. Expected work completion may vary weather dependent. With heavy traffic and machinery working on the road through these sections between 7am and 6pm, caution will be required.
