Tararua Rural Education Activities Programme
Tararua Rural Education Activities Programme (Tararua REAP) works with:
- Families, supporting parents to grow their skills in early childhood education through programmes like SKIP, and positive parenting.
- Local schools to develop specialist programmes for children that support the New Zealand Curriculum – like reading assistance, music and kapa haka. We also hold a comprehensive science resource library for local schools and teachers to access.
- Individuals of all ages to give them the skills in areas from finance and computers to health and wellbeing so they can get involved in the economic and social life of our region.
They deliver a wide variety of professional and personal development courses, workshops, and programmes in addition to adult learning opportunities.
