Tararua District Council  consulting on the Annual Plan 2023/24

Tararua District Council adopted its Annual Plan consultation document
and supporting information as part of the Annual Plan 2023/24 consultation.

Providing feedback is very important to us. We read every submission and
what you tell us is considered in our decisions. The Annual Plan focusses on
the proposed rates increase, water, wastewater, affordable waters reform,
solid waste and cyclone recovery.

How to get information and give feedback

1. Read both pages about the Annual Plan in this edition of the Bush Telegraph
and fill in the feedback form.

2. Online: engage.tararuadc.govt.nz or www.tararuadc.govt.nz/

3.  Attend Annual Plan Consultation Meetings.  At these meetings you will
be able to speak with Councillors and Council Subject Matter experts.

Meetings which are confirmed so far are:

* Monday, 1 May, 7 pm - Pongaroa The Way To Go - Pongaroa Hall

* Wednesday, 3 May,7 pm - Explore Pahiatua - Bush Community Church

* Monday, 8 May, 6.30 pm - Dannevirke Ratepayers Association - Christian
Fellowship Hub, Dannevirke

* Wednesday, 17 May, 10:00am - Pahiatua Rebus - Tararua Clubroom, Pahiatua

How to book council speakers for an event

Visit the Tararua District website to contact our councillors at:
www.tararuadc.govt.nz/your-council/council-contacts and let them know when
your organisation is meeting. Alternatively community groups can email Council at
communications@tararuadc.govt.nz to request Council attendance at a meeting
to discuss the Annual Plan.
